The Ceylon National Chamber of Industries (CNCI) was formed in 1960 and established by a special ACT of Parliament and it is the pioneering Chamber for Industries in Sri Lanka (Ceylon) established after the independence. The CNCI initiated its function as the foremost service facilitator and well as the voice of the Industry.

The 50th Annual General Meeting of the CNCI
Business Session

The 50th Annual General Meeting of The Ceylon National Chamber of Industries was held on Friday 7th October 2011 at the Langdon Room, Hotel Taj Samudra, Colombo. A large gathering including the Past Chairmen, Patrons, Senior Officials and Chamber members were present. Mr Sunil Liyanage the incumbent Chairman paid tribute to all officials of the Chamber with specific mention on the CNCI Achievers Awards 2011, which was by far one of the most colourful events organized by the Chamber on National Level.

Introduction of the CNCI (The Ceylon National Chamber of Industries)

The Ceylon National Chamber of Industries (CNCI) is the pioneering Industries Chamber in Sri Lanka established after the Independence in the Country and later in 1969 CNCI was incorporated by a special act of parliament as the legitimate National Chamber of Industries.

The Ceylon National Chamber of Industries serves as the foremost service facilitator to the Sri Lankan Industry and Manufacturing sector. The Members of the Chamber represents all Extra Large, Large, Medium and small sector enterprises from various categories of Industry & Manufacturing in Sri Lanka.

   
   
 

We are the premier Industrial Chamber in Sri Lanka having the majority of frontline industrialists in Sri Lanka in our membership representing the large medium and small companies.
Our main objective is to promote industrial growth, co-operate and co-ordinate with the Government in the attainment of same, by contributing in a significant manner, promoting and fostering an environment conductive to carry out industrial activity.

Membership fees for the year 2011/2012

           1) Full Membership :

               Annual Membership Subscription  15,000.00
               Sub Total                                          25,000.00
               Add:- 2% NBT                                 500.00

              Annual Membership Subscription   3,750.00

              Add:- 12% VAT                              520.20
              Total Payable                                   4,855.20
